It is generally understood as the distribution of goods (in envelopes, packages, pallets) to the final recipient, performed by a third party - the provider of fulfillment services.
The companies that provide this service are called fulfillment houses or 3PL suppliers (third party logistics providers). The fulfillment process includes operations such as: receipt, storage, collection, packaging and delivery of goods belonging to a third party.
